ZoneFeeds Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the ZoneFeeds platform (the "Service"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ZoneFeeds. By clicking "I Accept" during account registration or by using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

2.1 Registration Requirements

To use ZoneFeeds, you must:

Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
Create a strong password meeting our security requirements (minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and numbers)
Use a valid email address that you have access to
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

2.2 Account Approval

All account registrations are subject to administrative approval. ZoneFeeds reserves the right to reject any registration request without providing a reason.

2.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information, promptly update your information if it changes, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

2.4 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (username, password, API keys), all activities that occur under your account, and any consequences resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

3.1 Personal Information Collection

ZoneFeeds collects and processes the following personal information:

Username and email address provided during registration
Account activity logs and API usage statistics
Payment information (processed by third-party payment providers)

3.2 Usage Statistics and Data Retention

Usage Statistics: ZoneFeeds maintains records of your API queries, search patterns, and usage metrics.
Retention Period: All usage statistics and activity logs are retained for one (1) month from the date of activity.
Automatic Deletion: After one month, usage data is automatically deleted.

3.3 Trial Account Deletion

Trial Accounts: Accounts on trial subscriptions that are not upgraded to paid plans will be automatically deleted after one (1) year from the trial expiration date.
Data Recovery: Once an account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

3.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

ZoneFeeds does NOT:

Track your browsing activity outside our platform
Share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
Sell your data to data brokers or advertisers
Monitor the content of domain searches for advertising purposes

3.5 Query Data Privacy

Search Queries: Your domain search queries are processed in real-time and logged for the one-month retention period.
Query Confidentiality: Your specific search queries are not shared with third parties.
Aggregated Analytics: We may use anonymized, aggregated query data to improve our service and threat intelligence capabilities.

3.6 Data Security

ZoneFeeds implements industry standard security measures including secure password hashing, regular security audits, and access controls and authentication mechanisms.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Subscription Plans

ZoneFeeds offers tiered subscription plans (Trial, Basic, Enterprise) with varying features, quotas, and data access windows as detailed in our Subscription Guide.

4.2 Billing Period

All subscriptions are billed annually (yearly billing cycle)
Basic Plan: 365-day subscription period
Enterprise Plan: 365-day subscription period
Trial Plan: 7-day free trial period

4.3 Auto-Renewal

All paid subscriptions (Basic and Enterprise) automatically renew at the end of each annual billing period. To prevent auto-renewal, you must cancel subscription before the renewal date through your account settings or via your PayPal account.

4.4 Payment

Payment is processed via secure third-party payment gateways
You authorize ZoneFeeds to charge your payment method for renewal fees
Failed payment attempts will result in immediate service suspension
You are responsible for keeping payment information current

4.5 Subscription Changes

Upgrade to your subscription is easily possible and will be in effect as soon as payment is complete.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

ZoneFeeds is designed exclusively for legitimate security, threat intelligence, and brand protection purposes. The following uses are expressly permitted:

Security Research & Threat Intelligence

Identifying phishing domains, fraudulent registrations, and social engineering infrastructure
Mapping attacker-controlled domain clusters for threat hunting and incident response
Tracking newly registered domains (NRDs) associated with known malicious campaigns
Building and enriching threat intelligence feeds with domain observables
Supporting detection engineering by identifying indicators of compromise (IOCs)

Brand Protection

Monitoring for unauthorized use of your trademarks, trade names, or brand identifiers in domain registrations
Detecting typosquatting, combosquatting, and homoglyph attacks targeting your brand
Identifying impersonation domains used for phishing campaigns against your customers or employees
Supporting takedown requests and legal action against infringing domain registrations
Building automated alerting for brand-related domain registrations across all supported TLDs

Cybersecurity Operations

Domain registration monitoring for defensive and proactive security purposes
Compliance, risk management, and third-party vendor domain risk assessments
Supporting OSINT investigations conducted by legitimate security professionals
Integration into SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms via the API

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use ZoneFeeds for any of the following. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination, legal action, and referral to law enforcement.

Illegal Activities

Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations
Facilitating cybercrime, fraud, financial crime, or identity theft
Evading, obstructing, or frustrating law enforcement or regulatory investigations

Malicious and Harmful Purposes

Planning, preparing, conducting, or supporting cyber attacks of any kind, including DDoS, ransomware deployment, or unauthorized system access
Creating, registering, or operating phishing domains, fraudulent websites, or lookalike infrastructure targeting individuals or organizations
Domain squatting, typosquatting, cybersquatting, or trademark infringement with intent to profit or cause harm
Targeting, harassing, stalking, or enabling harm against specific individuals, communities, or organizations
Distributing, hosting, or facilitating the delivery of malware, spyware, adware, or any malicious software
Building infrastructure for spam campaigns, credential stuffing attacks, or account takeover operations

Security and Infrastructure Abuse

Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or disable subscription limits, rate limits, or access controls
Sharing, selling, or transferring API keys to unauthorized parties or organizations
Scraping, automated harvesting, or bulk extraction beyond your permitted subscription quota
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access ZoneFeeds' underlying data sources, algorithms, or infrastructure
Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing ZoneFeeds data or derived products without explicit written authorization
Submitting abusive, malformed, or intentionally disruptive query patterns designed to degrade service performance

5.3 Data Usage Restrictions

No Redistribution: You may not redistribute raw ZoneFeeds data to third parties without prior written permission.
Internal Use: Data obtained through ZoneFeeds is licensed for your internal security, threat intelligence, and brand monitoring purposes only.
Attribution: If publishing threat intelligence reports or public analyses using ZoneFeeds data, proper attribution to ZoneFeeds is required.
Commercial Use: Any commercial use or integration of ZoneFeeds data into commercial products requires an Enterprise subscription and explicit written authorization.
Data Integrity: You may not manipulate, misrepresent, or falsely attribute data obtained from ZoneFeeds in any report, publication, or communication.

5.4 Fair Use

ZoneFeeds enforces fair use policies to ensure equitable service quality for all subscribers. The following rules apply to all users regardless of subscription tier:

Quota Compliance: You must respect the API query quotas and record limits defined for your subscription tier. Quotas reset on your monthly subscription anniversary date.
Reasonable Use: Queries should reflect genuine investigative, monitoring, or analytical workflows. Speculative querying patterns that consume large portions of your quota without corresponding security or brand protection objectives are considered abusive.
Automated Workflows: Automated and programmatic API usage is permitted within your quota limits. Automated workflows must include appropriate request intervals and must not attempt to maximize throughput artificially.
Excessive Use: Patterns of use that disproportionately consume shared infrastructure resources may result in temporary throttling or quota adjustments.

5.5 Enforcement and Consequences

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

Immediate account suspension or termination without notice
Permanent revocation of API access and all associated keys
Legal action and referral to law enforcement authorities
No refund of subscription fees paid
Liability for damages, costs, and legal fees caused by misuse

We actively monitor for abuse patterns and reserve the right to investigate, log, and act on suspicious activity at our sole discretion.

6. Service Availability and Limitations

6.1 Service Uptime

While we strive for maximum availability, ZoneFeeds does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice, conduct emergency maintenance without notice, and modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6.2 Data Accuracy

ZoneFeeds provides domain intelligence data "as is" from registry sources. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy or completeness of domain data. Users are responsible for independently verifying critical information. ZoneFeeds is not liable for decisions made based on our data.

6.3 Quota and Access Limits

Your access is subject to the limits of your subscription tier.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 ZoneFeeds Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in the ZoneFeeds platform, including software, algorithms, infrastructure, user interface and design, documentation and content, and trademarks and branding, remain the exclusive property of ZoneFeeds.

7.2 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, ZoneFeeds grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

7.3 User Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to ZoneFeeds may be used without compensation or attribution.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 Liability Cap

ZONEFEEDS' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ZONEFEEDS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8.3 Exclusion of Damages

ZONEFEEDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR DATA LOSS; OR THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR CONTENT.

8.4 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your use of ZoneFeeds data, that you will independently verify critical security decisions, and that ZoneFeeds is a tool, not a substitute for professional security judgment.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZoneFeeds, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the Service
Your infringement of third-party rights
Any illegal or unauthorized activity conducted using your account

10. General Provisions

10.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Subscription Guide, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZoneFeeds.

10.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

10.3 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

10.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. ZoneFeeds may assign these Terms without notice.

10.5 Force Majeure

ZoneFeeds is not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, infrastructure failures, etc.).

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, CLICKING "I ACCEPT," OR USING THE ZONEFEEDS SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

You specifically consent to:

Annual billing and automatic subscription renewal
One-month usage data retention and automatic deletion thereafter
Automatic deletion of inactive trial accounts after one year
The Acceptable Use Policy and restrictions on data misuse
The limitation of liability and dispute resolution provisions
